Magnetic Storage Tub – Hidden Magnets, Clean Finish
This is a compact magnetic storage tub with a secure snap-fit magnetic lid, designed for small everyday items. It’s around 70 mm diameter × 30 mm tall and uses 8-off 6 mm × 3 mm magnets (4-off in both the tub and the lid) for a satisfying, positive closure.
Both parts are printed with built-in pauses so the magnets can be dropped in mid-print, leaving them fully hidden once complete — no glue, no exposed magnets.
It’s ideal for things like pouches, small parts, bike puncture spares, fishing tackle, screws, electronics bits, or anything you want kept together without popping open in a pocket or bag.
The outer wall has a subtle profile for a bit of visual interest, keeping it simple but not boring.
