Interior for the 2nd Class and 1st/2nd Class Commuter Coach Märklin 4042/4043 Silberling

Märklin, and thus Primex, delivered passenger coaches without interior fittings well into the 1970s. Therefore, model train sets with coaches consisting of those with and without interiors were normal in my childhood. Now, vehicles with interiors predominate, yet I hold the old coaches dear. So I developed an interior based on the 2nd class commuter coach.

The interior is divided into segments so that it can be inserted through the open coach roof. Because vehicles without interior fittings have a wall with a fold in the middle, please pay attention to the recess in one of the compartments.

Warning: Compartments between the doors have greater distances than the outer ones.

Starting from the central wall, the compartments are inserted, except for the last one. This one is inserted over the toilet. Please pay attention to light cutouts and cable routing!

Only suitable for 2nd and 1st/2nd class vehicles with a length of 24 cm and corresponding window arrangement!
