Description

1956 Ford F100 Pickup - Stylized 3D Print

This is a high-quality 3D printable model of the iconic 1956 Ford F100 Pickup. Designed with a clean, stylized look, it’s a perfect project for classic car enthusiasts and makers alike.

Key Features:

  • No AMS Required: Designed for easy printing even on single-material printers.
  • Fully Scalable: The model can be freely scaled up or down to suit your needs.
  • Modular Wheels: Rims and tires are printed separately. This allows you to print tires in TPU for a realistic feel while using PLA or PETG for the rims.
  • Rolling Chassis: To make the wheels functional, simply use a piece of wire as an axle.
    • Note: At 100% scale, use a 1.6mm diameter wire. If you scale the model, adjust the wire thickness accordingly.
  • Display Option: If the model is for display only, you don't need to install axles. The truck body can simply rest on top of the wheels.

Customization & Finishing:

  • Detail Painting: You can easily add a personal touch by painting the windows, lights, and trim after printing. Acrylic markers (like Posca or similar) are highly recommended for fine details and clean lines.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.16 mm (for a smooth finish on the curves).
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid (provides great structural strength).
  • Supports: Depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, minimal supports may be needed for the wheel arches and front grille.
