Description

It seems that the Jobo 2500 system is little used.  I am  used to working with it so I was disappointed when I saw there were no 4x5 reels that fit it.  I used pictures and my memory of the item to recreate it.

Please use PETG to print this because of the chemistry eating PLA.

Tolerances are super tight so you will most likely need to sand the bottom post so it fits in the top.

Great model, Thanks. Only one problem is that there is nothing to retain the two halves (the tolerences on my print were not tight at all) . On the original reels they click together with a half rotation (same as 35mm/120 reels do). I've glued the two parts together and i'll see how that holds up when I use it. I may put a small bolt through to hold the 2 parts together if glue doesn't work.

Hello, Thank you for your effort in this project. The insert is a good prototype, but it's not yet ready for use: - Too much distance between the upper and lower guides causes the film sheet to easily fall out during loading, especially the guides located near the center. - The guides are too wide. - The stops on the guides should be placed on the opposite side. With the current configuration and film bend, they don't actually hold the film in place, which poses a risk of it slipping out during processing. I think a few tweaks will make the design usable. Regards Tested on 4x5 sheet from Foma, Ilford.
