Description

My very first print, from my own ground up CAD! I'm still learning but this was a fun day long learning process!

*** Please confirm the dimensions of your dominoes and adjust the scale of the model to fit! ***

This is a model of a little train station to go along with the Mexican Train Dominoes set my mom purchased recently, but hers cam with a 2mm thick piece of flat plastic. How boring!

I've created 2 profiles for this that should work well for most people. A pure AMS version that you can start and walk away from, or a more efficiently printed version with the minimum of colour changes. The second profile could be done without AMS is you just pause the print to change filament. It will also require a minimum of assembly using filament pins you can trim to fit. It's quite snug.

Have fun everyone!

Thank you very much, what a great project, I printed it but there are two things to change: 1- The domino tile does not fit in the station roof, that space must be enlarged. The other thing to review is that when playing I must be able to see who has their train in the station and the roof does not let me see the trains of the players in front of me. To correct this error, the columns could be omitted and the roof attached to the base next to the tracks

Thank you for the input. :) I love the colour you used! Thanks for sharing your pictures! Yes, domino sizes may vary a little and I did make it for the vary specific dominoes I had. Increasing the scale on the model in Bambu Studio may be the simplest fix for that. As for not printing the columns, please feel free to modify as necessary! Cheers!

What are the dimensions of your dominoes? I don't want to waste all the filament to find out at the very end mine won't fit lol

Thank you, for letting me know. I’ll run a test and see if there’s an issue that I can resolve, and provide an update.

I think it needs supports because at one point it started to spaghetti. I was able to sand down the portion that didnt work. Overall its a beautiful build but it doesn't print correctly on the H2C.

This should be corrected shortly, and have added support to the profile.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ll mention for people to check their dimensions against the model in the description.

What a beautiful design! I play this game with my parents all the time. I printed two of them. Sadly, I didn't measure the Dominos first, but either way, it looks great. I used Black, White, Silver and Gold.
