Description

Overview
This custom Toolgrid layout transforms your tool drawer into a tribute to American craftsmanship. Featuring a precision-aligned pegboard liner styled as the U.S. flag, it combines function and pride in one bold statement. The stars and stripes are scaled to fit the drawer perfectly, with peg holes spaced for full Toolgrid compatibility.

Specs
•     Drawer Fit: US General 42" roller cart (top drawer)

•    Should be able to adapt to other boxes by printing additional plates and possibly cutting them if necessary.
•     Dimensions: Full-width liner with accurate flag proportions (based on 940.5mm × 494.0mm)
•     Peg Hole Grid: Standard Toolgrid spacing for pegs, holders, and accessories
•     Design Method: CAD-modeled for 3D printing or CNC routing
•     Materials: Compatible with PLA, PETG, ABS or ASA depending on your workflow

Maker Notes
•     Stars are true 5-point polygons, not circles—modeled for visual fidelity and printability.
•     Stripe layout and canton dimensions follow official flag ratios, scaled to drawer size.
•     Works great with modular Toolgrid accessories—no compromise on layout or access.

Ideal For
•     Makers who want to personalize their workspace
•     Veterans and patriots proud of their craft
•     Anyone upgrading their tool drawer with style and precision

Printing Notes

  • Use 4 Wall Loops
  • Use 4 Top & Bottom Shell Layers
  • 15% Gyroid Infill
  • .24MM Layer Height - Draft Mode will work fine with .04 Nozzle
  • Can also be printed in PETG, ABS or ASA for strength

I have a 68inch EPIC Snap-On tool box. The draws size is 62inch in length and 28inch wide. Any chance to increase the width and increase the length.

Uploaded a new print profile for the 49.6in Drawer width. You should just be able to print another row of full size plates and cut off to make the 27in depth.

@clamm98 you should just be able to print an extra 3 plates of the "Plates 11-13, 18-20 & 22-27 - Print X 12" to extend the stripes. You will probably have to cut them off to size for the drawer but the depth is the same so just needs to be wider.

@clamm98 should should just need to print additional stripes plates to make the width. Then you can cut to length.
