Accessories to convert 3D printing filament spools into storage boxes
Print Profile(3)

Description
Design Concept
This design uses 3D printed filament spools as storage racks allowing flexible use through rotation or disassembly to store and display your items at home
Usage
This accessory can be used as a component of a storage box suitable for storing 3D printed tools accessories or other small items Currently it is compatible with over 90% of spools on the market
Printing Recommendations
Currently it is compatible with over 90% of spools on the market Before printing measure the internal spacing of the spool then set the Z-axis height of the first plate which can be lowered by 1mm for more flexible movement Using ABS or PETG materials can enhance strength and durability It is recommended to set the wall thickness to at least 2mm and use a 20% infill to save material and printing time Pay attention to support structures during printing to facilitate the formation of complex parts
Assembly Instructions
After printing is complete by combining the upper and lower parts of the components securely fix each section it can be easily disassembled and combined allowing all parts to operate flexibly
If only a single spool plate is needed for storage you only need to print the first plate of the model
If two spool plates are stacked you will need to print additional second plate connectors If unlimited stacking is desired you will need to print additional hollow connecting posts for the second plate
The accessories in the third plate are storage compartment dividers and connecting rivets which can be printed as needed Alternatively you can skip printing the rivets and use M4 self-tapping screws directly to secure it to the reserved holes on the spool
Magnet mounting holes are reserved on the side of the spool which can be left unused The magnets used are 5x3 cylindrical magnets
Tips:
1 Due to differences in materials and printer types, print quality and tolerances may vary. After printing, if you find that the fit is too loose or too tight, you can scale parts of the model as needed.
2 If some connections are loose or fit too tightly, you can use some glue to secure them, or sand down the corresponding parts.
3 Due to variations in materials and printers, perfect compatibility with all models and materials cannot be guaranteed. We appreciate your understanding.
