Boost Me (for free)
A lot of strength testing went into this design. If you enjoyed this print, I appreciate the boost and a follow!
I designed this customizable leash holder to be both decorative and robust in strength. There are two ways to print it - with and without the use of grub screw hardware. With grub screw hardware this holder becomes virtually unbreakable to any normal useable load (your wall plugs should fail before the model does).
****Update****
- I added a new textured version of this to enhance the visual artwork of this leash holder. You'll find that as the textured print profile.
- I added a new hollow template to be used for mounting. This is located in a new print profile. It saves some filament and some time printing the tool to assist with installation on your wall. You don't need the template to install this, but it helps located your mounting points.

To edit the name of your dog/pet on the holder, select the holder in the bambu app and double click on the name. This will open up the custom text window as seen below:

Erase the input text and enter your own. I recommend that you stay no smaller than 9mm for text size when using Comic Sans MS font and a 0.4mm nozzle. Smaller than this will make it difficult for your printer to accurately and cleanly print the text without you modifying some of the line width settings.
I suggest leaving the thickness settings in the custom text area as I have set them. Depending on how many letters the name that you enter is, you can grab the yellow square with your mouse and reposition the text to be centered in the paw.
This print features hidden threads behind the pegs that are only visible from the rear of the holder (and not visible when it is hanging on the wall). I have done extensive testing on the strength of this holder, adding the threads makes the pegs way harder to break than if you tried to eliminate the threads and fill the inside with infill. So if you don't opt to use the grub screws, you can still use the exact same print.
The grub screws if you choose to use them are M8x1.25 and are 20mm long. They screw in with an allen key at the back of the model. The threads I put in this model insure a tight (but not too tight) clearance. This is intentional as the grub screw needs to fit tightly to insure it takes all of the compression force from heavy loads that are hung on the holder.
*****Optional Hardware**** Link to the grub screws I bought: M8-1.25 x 20mm
Photos of how it installs below:

Again, use of the grub screw is optional, but I challenge you break the pegs in your hands with a downward force with them installed.
The holder mounts on the wall with a standard wall plug. I recommend a 15lb or more wall plug on each side depending on what you intend to hang on the hanger (dog toys, bags, leashes, jackets, dog boots in the winter, etc)
Also within the print profile I have included a 1mm thick template that you can also print to assist you when you hang the leash holder.
Lastly, I have also added ironing settings to insure that your settings are as smooth as possible. I use Bambu PLA filament for my colours, so my settings revolve around best results using those filaments.
