Description
Statue of Emperor Trajan: Historical Reconstruction (Seville)
This model is a 3D recreation of the statue that originally crowned the commemorative column of Emperor Trajan in Seville (Spain). Based on illustrations and historical references, this piece brings back to life the figure of the emperor born in Itálica, depicted with his armor, holding the orb of power and his spear.
About the model: I designed this sculpture seeking a balance between classical Roman realism and ease of printing. The pose captures the authority of the Roman emperor, ideal for history collectors, dioramas, or architectural models.
Printing Recommendations:
- Supports: Required (especially for the arm holding the orb and the spear).
- Orientation: It is recommended to print upright.
- Material: Ideal for resin (SLA/DLP) to capture fine details of the face and armor, but printable in PLA with a fine layer height (0.16mm or less).
- Spear: Depending on the scale, be careful when removing supports around the spear as it is a delicate part.
I hope you enjoy this piece of Roman history!
