Heavy Duty Brake Caliper Hanger

This heavy-duty S-hook is designed to securely hold brake calipers out of the way during automotive maintenance (like changing pads, rotors, or suspension work).

Why you need this: Never let a brake caliper hang by its hydraulic rubber hose! The weight can damage the internal structure of the hose, leading to dangerous brake failure later. This simple hook solves that problem securely.

⚠️ Important Print & Safety Guidelines

Since this is a functional safety tool carrying weight, print settings are critical for strength.

• Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS are highly recommended for their strength and resistance to grease/chemicals in a garage environment. PLA+ / PLA Tough can be used for occasional DIY use, but avoid standard brittle PLA.
• Walls (Perimeters): Use at least 4-5 walls. Wall thickness adds much more strength than infill for hooks.
• Infill: 30% to 50% gyroid.
• Orientation: Print flat on the bed (as provided in the 3mf) for maximum layer adhesion strength. Do not print standing up.
