Description

Optimise your Gridfinity setup with a highly efficient baseplate designed specifically for IKEA ALEX drawers measuring 36 × 70 cm. This model delivers full Gridfinity compatibility while significantly reducing material usage and print time.

Compared to a widely used reference baseplate on Makersworld, this design uses approximately 50% less filament and reduces print time from 3h38 to 2h53 when printed with comparable settings. This results in lower printing costs, faster production, and improved efficiency, particularly when printing full drawer layouts.

The geometry has been carefully designed to remove non-essential material while maintaining the model's functionality. The baseplate fits perfectly inside an IKEA ALEX drawer and performs identically to more material-intensive designs in everyday use.
