Description
I designed this mount to turn my old smartphone into a useful Desktop Dashboard right under my monitor. It displays time, weather, date, and other info using a dashboard app.
This is designed to clip onto the bottom of a Samsung Odyssey Monitor. It allows you to upcycle an older device into a dedicated sub-display with a clean, cable-managed look.
[Key Features]
- Snap-Fit Design: No glue or adhesive tape is needed. It is designed to fit snugly onto the back/bottom bezel of the Samsung Odyssey monitor.
- Clean Cable Management: I added specific holes to route the charging cable through the stand, keeping your desk setup clean (see photos).
- Zero Tolerance Fit: The phone holder is designed to hold the device firmly without wobbling.

- Monitor: Samsung Odyssey Series (Please check the bottom bezel shape in the photos).
- Smartphone: Samsung Galaxy A8 2018
- Designed specifically for this model.
- If your phone has the same width (70.6mm) and thickness, it should fit perfectly.
[Material & Print Settings]
- Material: I printed this in PLA and have been using it without any issues. Even with the heat from the monitor and phone, the mount is stable and holds up perfectly. You don't necessarily need PETG or ABS.
