Guinea Pig Hideout (A1 Adapted Version) Printing & Usage Instructions
This hideout model has been optimized for the A1 3D Printer, tested without issues, and can be printed with confidence; the previous version for A1 models was prone to failure and will be released separately later, suitable for CoreXY architecture and its multi-color version. This saves a lot of effort by allowing the main structure to be Print in Place
I. Pre-Printing Preparation & Plate Arrangement Color Matching Tips
- Custom Plate Arrangement Color SchemeBefore printing, please manually arrange the plates, assign your preferred colors to different parts as needed, and merge them into the corresponding printing plate. You can freely match the appearance style according to your aesthetic to create a unique hideout.
- Air Conditioner Parts Color Change Tutorial (for text/logo only)For the two separate parts in the model, the indoor and outdoor air conditioner units, if you want to achieve a different color effect for the text/logo area, you can use the "Pause at Layer for Color Change" method:
- Step 1: In the slicing software, locate the printing layer corresponding to the text/logo;
- Step 2: Set this layer as a "pause point"; the 3D Printer will automatically pause when it reaches this layer;
- Step 3: Manually change to the corresponding color filament, and after changing the material, click to resume printing to achieve the text/logo's different color effect.
II. Bill of Materials (Assembly Essential)
- Core filament: 3D printing filament in corresponding colors (prepare according to your own color scheme needs)
- Assembly glue: super glue (used for joining and fixing parts, apply a small amount to avoid excess glue affecting aesthetics)
III. Printing Safety Tips
This model has a high printing tolerance, with no difficult overhangs or small, fragile parts; default parameters can produce stable prints, making it easy for beginners and eliminating worries about print failures.
