Description
These shield emblems were symbols of status and power in medieval Europe (approximately 5th-15th centuries), primarily used in noble family crests, knight armor decorations, or city-state flags. The lion, as a central motif, symbolizes courage, strength, and dominance, commonly found in the emblems of royalty or military nobility. Today, they are often used as retro decorative elements for home decor, clothing patterns, or historical designs in games and films.
