šŸ”‹EGO Snow Blower Chute Upgrade: 5 to 7 PositionsšŸ”‹

Upgrade for the chute control plate on EGO dual-stage snow blowers (SNT240X series).

Compatible for SNT2400 series (SNT2400,SNT2405,SNT2406)

If you are like me and was putting the knob between 2 notches, then this is the part for you.

  • The Change: Replaces the original 5-position metal plate with a 7-position design.
  • The Advantage: Provides two extra notches for much finer control of the snow discharge angle.
  • Material: Printed in PA6-GF (Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon).Ā
    • Note : I would use GREEN/Lime if I had 🤷
  • Durability: Extremely solid and wear-resistant, doesn't match the strength of the original metal part but with PA6-GF, I assume it will be better than PETG
  • Settings: Printed at 100% infill for maximum structural integrity.
  • Installation: Direct replacement using the original screws.

You can see the original metal part and all the test parts I did to make it fit 😊

Installation Instructions

The installation is a quick and direct swap:

  1. Remove the Handle: Remove the 2 screws located on the side of the green handle to slide it off the metal lever.
  2. Remove the Plate: Remove the 2 screws holding the original metal plate in place.
  3. Swap & Reassemble: Place your new 7-position plate, reinstall the plate screws, slide the handle back on, and secure it with its 2 screws.
  4. Tool Required: A Torx T20 screwdriver is typically required for these screws.
