Description

🐾 Cat Litter Scoop – Snap-Fit, Two-Part Design

A simple but comfortable litter scoop, designed with small printers in mind 🐱
Instead of printing the scoop as one large piece, this version is split into two parts: a handle and a scoop head, connected with a clean snap-fit joint.

Thanks to this design, the scoop fits easily on printers like the Bambu Lab A1 mini, while still keeping a full-size, comfortable grip once assembled.

Printing the handle separately also allows it to be oriented on its side, giving it a much nicer surface finish and a more ergonomic feel in the hand. The grip is shaped to sit naturally in your fingers, making everyday use more comfortable.

ā„¹ļø Material note:
The snap-fit connection requires the parts to flex slightly during assembly.
For this reason, PETG is strongly recommended, as it handles this kind of one-time deformation much better than PLA and helps avoid cracking during assembly.

🧾 Printing and assembly

  • Two printed parts: handle + scoop head
  • No supports required šŸ™Œ
  • Simple snap-fit connection — no glue or screws
  • Optimized for small build volumes
  • Handle prints sideways for a smoother, more pleasant grip
  • Designed for quick prints

Assembly takes just a moment: align the parts and press them together until they lock.

I put a lot of personal time into each project I share here šŸ•’ā¤ļø. I do it knowing there's no real profit—apart from sharpening my skills šŸ› ļø and the joy of contributing something useful or fun to others 😊.
The points I earn on this platform help cover only a small part of the filament I use to create these models šŸŽÆ.

If you ever run into printing issues, please take a moment to check if the cause might be on your end šŸ”šŸ–Øļø.
Even with all the advancements in 3D printing, proper calibration, bed adhesion, filament choice, and profile settings still play a big role in the final result āš™ļøšŸŽ›ļø.

Negative ratings affect a project’s visibility šŸ“‰ and reduce the number of downloads, even if the issue wasn't with the model itself.
If something's not working, please don’t hesitate to message me šŸ’¬ā€”I'll do my best to help or clarify things šŸ™Œ.

This is just a small part of my life, but it’s a big part of my passion šŸ’”. I’m constantly learning and improving šŸ“š, and your thoughtful feedback makes a huge difference šŸ’¬šŸŒ±.
