Used so much extra filament and the tower was a complete waste.

Because it's a multicolored print... Learn to use your printer.

I've made many multicolored prints, but for some reason this one created so much waste. I'm not sure why. My son loves the thing, I don't regret printing it just with it didn't switch colors so often. It made blue layers in the tower when it was just printing yellow at the time. Could be a fluke? He wants a smaller one so I'll try again and update the review if it prints better. No need to be so rude in your response.

face features are too deep needlessly, a single filament change and no print tower is possible, flush x 0.8

What printer were you using? This is also a multicolored print. There is always a reason for something, never "no reason".

You should be able to change the bambu studio settings to for your smaller build plate. I recommend this as to not have any problems with other models with no A1 Mini profiles.
