Description

Since the early days of Space 1999, I've been a huge fan of the Eagle One, the iconic spaceship. After building a few eagles, it was time to design and draw a model myself that had all the features of that iconic model: the cockpit, the tubular frame, side boosters, and the extra-large rear boosters. So, with some pride, I present to you: The Osprey (it had to be a bird name, just like the eagle is one). Many hours, days, and weeks have been invested in making this model as good and beautiful as possible, perfect for a 3D printer without using too many supports. That's why some detail pieces are attached as separate items for better print orientation. I hope you like it. Additional accessories, such as gear, an extra fuel tank, etc., will certainly follow.

AS promised : The booster set :-) https://makerworld.com/en/models/2298266-boosters-for-space-1999-osprey#profileId-2508159

I designed it for fun, But a Boost is always nice :-).

Oh my, this is awesome. The Eagle is the best. I thought I missed this one from the TV show (or my fading memory was at it again!). So cool you designed it yourself. It's definitely on my "to print" list. And, you could have named it the flying squirrel....! j/k 😉

Hey glad you like it. Flying squirrel is a very good name for the looks it has. I wanted to stay in line with 'eagle' ;-), so osprey came to mind.
