Many compartment, locker, or cabinet doors do not have a separate handle and can only be opened via the lock. This is impractical and uncomfortable, especially with stiff doors or with damp or wet hands.

This 3D-printed opening aid provides a solution. It is attached to the door edge and serves as an ergonomic handle, making the door much easier and more controlled to open – without having to pull on the lock.

Notes:

• The model is optimized for 3D printing
• Material choice depends on the application area (e.g., PETG or ASA for higher loads, but PLA is usually sufficient)
