Description

Overview

These are double-ended belt templates for accurately marking the buckle end, English point, and hole placement on leather belts.

Place the template at the buckle end to mark the buckle slot and reference points, then measure the belt length, slide the same template to the tip end, and mark the English point and holes. This keeps layouts consistent without re-drawing curves or re-spacing holes for each belt.

A small built-in clearance is included so the template fits comfortably over the strap without binding, even on thicker or stiffer leathers.

Designed in Fusion 360 using parametric dimensions and validated through real test prints focused on flatness, point accuracy, and clean edges.

Metric and imperial versions are provided as separate project files to avoid scaling issues.

What’s Included

Double-ended belt templates covering multiple sizes

Profile 1: Metric version (mm): 20–40 mm (7 sizes)

Profile 2: Imperial version (inches): 0.75″–1.75″ (5 sizes)

Each project file groups all sizes clearly so you can open one file and print without resizing or manual scaling.

Printing Notes

Prints flat on the build plate

Mouse-ear brims at the pointed end to prevent lift

Aux fan disabled to reduce edge curl on long, thin geometry

Feedback

If you have suggestions or notice anything that could be improved, feel free to leave a comment.

Note: The buckle tongue oblong is 25 mm / 1 inch in length. Extra-thick straps or very large buckles may require a larger slot and different Chicago screw placement around the buckle tongue area. Please check fit before punching the Chicago screw holes.
