🛠️ Print Settings & Tips
For the best result (as seen in the photos), I recommend the following settings:
- Layer height: 0.16 mm or 0.12 mm (for fine details on the face and ornaments).
- Support structure (Supports): Required (Tree supports work best for the arms and snout).
- Infill: 15–20% (Gyroid recommended for good stability).
- Wall lines: 3–4 walls to ensure the arms are stable enough to support the weight of a full bottle.
- Material: PLA is ideal. Silk Gold and Matte Black PLA give the figure the authentic look of an ancient artifact.
📐 Important Note on Size (Scaling)
Since bottle shapes (especially traditional mead clay bottles or various wine bottles) can vary greatly, it is important that you individually scale the model before printing.
- Standard setting: The model is optimized for common wine bottles (approx. 75-80mm diameter).
- Adjustment: Measure the diameter of your favorite bottle and adjust the size accordingly in your slicer (e.g., Bambu Studio) so that the bottle fits perfectly in the holder.
🎨 Post-processing
To perfect the look, I painted the details with gold, blue, and red acrylic markers. If you have an AMS, you can color the stripes on the arms and the headdress directly in Bambu Studio!
