Description
I’ve always been drawn to architecture and iconic landmarks, which is why I started creating bookmarks inspired by famous places from around the world.
This bookmark features the Taj Mahal, located in Agra, India, one of the most famous monuments ever built. It was commissioned in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum and is widely regarded as a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Built primarily from white marble, the Taj Mahal is known for its perfect symmetry, balanced proportions, and carefully planned gardens and water reflections. Today, it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains a symbol of craftsmanship, history, and architectural precision.
