Description

This is the fourth day of a project to make every mini in the 2014 Monster Manual for my friend who is planning a gauntlet game - we will be fighting every monster in it!

I'll be doing one monster a day until it's done. Follow the collection and my page to see how they turn out!

These are made using Makerlab's Image to 3D model, and then tidied up in Blender.

Boost Me (for free)

Boost and let me know your favourite monster to skip it to the top of the queue!

Today's monster is the Mr Clean lookalike - the Planetar.

Planetars are the generals of celestial armies, so if you have one after you, you're in trouble.

This model is scaled to 50mm - but can be altered in the slicer to suit your needs.

Please take care when rescaling that the parts are thick enough to print.

Please take care removing supports, especially around the cloth strips and the wings. Snipping the supports is a good idea.

Remember, superglue works magic!

I have included the non-based model if you wish to re-base it.

Pictured grid is 2cm X 2cm.

Weird artifacts fixed on this model:

  • Our first weird hand mesh! The two hands melded together, so I used sculpt tools to give it some fingers.
  • The sword was entirely too thin, so I replaced it with my own model
  • Arachne wall generation is on, as Makerlab makes cloth way too thin

I have lots of models for you to print:

Happy gaming!
