*I've uploaded a new V2 version where I have broken up the corner pieces into separate pieces so they can be printed individually. The first version of this file had an issue with the Front Left Corner piece being 2mm shorter on the front side. I have fixed this issue and uploaded the new file. Please download the latest copy of the V2 file before printing.
I created this remixed version of the FNATR riser because it's the best designed and engineered product in that category that I could find on MakerWorld. I loved the riser but it was somewhat, how shall I say this, boring. I wanted some “cool factor” so I added a Bambu Lab P2S logo to the front. I then added an LED strip inside to give me more light in the build chamber and to make the logo glow achieving the “cool factor” I was looking for.
I printed this in Sunlu Grey PETG HS with the logo being printed in Sunlu Transparent PETG. I would recommend PETG as it was the material the original riser designer recommended and it's going to be more heat resistant so there will be less warping with continued use above the hot build chamber.
The original exhaust function of the FNATR design is still present but I included some additional build plates with different configurations of wall inserts for alternate configurations.
You only need to print one of the “Modular Inserts” plates depending on which riser configuration you want.
Plate 01 (Exhaust Option) has three wall inserts to be used with the exhaust port insert on Plate 08 as the fourth.
Plate 02 (No Exhaust / No LED Strip) has four wall inserts to be used with no exhaust and no LED strip.
Plate 03 (No Exhaust With LED Strip) has three wall inserts with one wall insert that has a 13mm hole in it for the LED strip plug. It also includes a hole plug with a 4 mm cutout to seal the cable hole. You can use any LED strip that has a 13mm plug and a 4mm cable or smaller. I'm guessing you'll need an LED strip that is at least five feet long. I used the DAYBETTER White LED Strip Light and you can buy them on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4aQuxcT
- Plate 08 only needs to be printed if you're going to configure the riser for an exaust system.
