Detroit Lions "Beast Mode" Helmet

This isn't your average helmet—it’s a mashup that brings the mascot to life. I designed this model to blend the ferocity of a realistic lion head directly into the form factor of a football helmet. The model features detailed fur textures, a classic face mask grid, and it’s fully painted in the slicer for those of you running multi-color setups (AMS/MMU).

Whether you’re displaying this in the fan cave or on your desk at work, it’s definitely a conversation starter.

File Details:

• Format: .3mf (Bambu Studio / Orca Slicer ready)
• Colors: Pre-painted for 4-color printing (Blue, Silver, White, Black)
• Sizing: Helmet is sized to 60% but can be resized to 100% on an H2 Series build plate

⚙️ Printing Recommendations

(I’ve tweaked the settings to get the best results for the teeth and face mask overhangs. Here is what I recommend):

• Layer Height: .20mm layer height
• Infill: 15% Gyroid Infill
• Supports: Tree (Manual & Auto) Enabled
• Filament Used: Bambu PETG HF (Lake Blue), Elegoo White/Black Rapid PETG and Comgrow Brown PETG

Teeth Note: The most challenging part of this print was having the lions' teeth & fangs print correctly. I've included a "no teeth" version with teeth to print separately for you to glue in and the full version that has the teeth attached. If you do the full version, check your speed acceleration settings for overhangs and supports as I had two prints fail (imo) before I decided to split them off the helmet.
