Description
This is a simple A6-format notepad made to fit in the main storage compartment of about30cows's excellent Ultimate DND Players Kit.
It is also… a simple notepad you can use for everyday tasks.
The art on the covers is from Dungeon Meshi (search “thistle book dungeon meshi”, but beware of spoilers !) ; however, since it's applied using an SVG modifier, a plain version can also be printed, or a custom SVG can be loaded for a more personalized one.
Printing
The covers are modified using the SVG ; remove or replace the art at your own convenience. The spine is printed vertically to leverage the layer strength and properly hold the paper in place.
Assembly
Spine and covers mate in a straightforward way ; simply insert two pieces of filament at the top and bottom of the notepad to lock the pieces in place. Don't try to use a single piece of filament for the whole thing : it will most likely break !

For the paper : the cheaper the better ! Lighter paper means more pages. I'm using extra-cheap 75g A4 paper and it yields about 30 pages.
Cut your A4s in half to turn them into A5s. Fold the A5s into two linked A6s. Bundle each A6 pair in manageable amounts (I've done 5 per bundle).

Take the bundles, pack them tight, and insert them in the spine ; you may need to really press the paper down. You can remove pages if it is too tight. You can mark the location of the spine ends the first page for a cleaner final look.

You're done ! When the notepad is full, simply pull the pages off the spine and reload it like before. Enjoy ;)
