Bring an epic and warm ambiance to your bookshelf with this book nook inspired by the Game of Thrones universe, and more specifically the Great Hall of Winterfell.
This diorama is designed to fit perfectly between your books (ideally next to the A Song of Ice and Fire saga!). It depicts a detailed interior scene with a massive fireplace adorned with the Direwolf sigil of House Stark, framed by stone columns and a wall banner.
Key Features:
- Immersive Design: Realistic stone textures (bricks, hearth) and wood effect for the table.
- LED Slot: The model is designed to accommodate an LED strip (on the ceiling) or a fake candle in the fireplace to simulate fire (as in my photos).

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings
- Material: PLA (Gray for walls/stone, Brown for wood, or paint everything after printing).
- Layer Height: 0.08mm
- Infill: 10-15% is sufficient.
🛠️ Assembly and Finishing
- Assembly: The parts assemble easily. A dab of glue (Cyanoacrylate) is recommended to fix the banner and sigil.
- Painting: To achieve the look in the photo, I used gray acrylic paint with a black "wash" to highlight the brick joints, and touches of bronze/gold for the decorations.
- Lighting: I used a small 5V (USB) LED strip glued to the ceiling of the book nook for orange ambient lighting.
