Description

Magpul PMAG Speedloader (with clip)

This speedloader is designed for magazines that are compatible with the standard speedloader made by G.G.G. The prototypes were printed in PLA and ABS; other materials with higher melting points may require downscaling in the slicer.

After printing, I recommend breaking in the clip by sliding a single round through it several times. Once properly broken in, the clip should not jam when attempting to load the magazine.

Strength Issue:the piece that holds the rounds is too flimsy (in PETG) to be effective

You should print the clips in PLA. PETG is way too flexible when printing things with such thin walls. ​PS: I know the profile says ABS, but that’s because I forgot to change it after printing prototypes with various filaments.

i went with PETG incase jt got solvent on it. i think a reinforcing spine in the back would solve the bending issue (although you'd lose the label). I'd want and extended version for 15-20 also

That's an excellent idea, it can certainly be done, but it won't print as nicely as it does now (without supports and with the entire flat back on the build plate). I'm afraid that 15-20 round clips will require a more curved shape, and it might turn out that a different speedloader will need to be created for them.
