Built-in print optimizations, supports are not required but enabled by default for anyone new to 3d printng. My settings are enabled and supports deattach as you lift the lamp off the plate. Advanced users can easily disable this if preferred.

šŸ“¦ Insert Compatibility

Inserts for Kit-001 / MH001 / KC-007 LED are included inside the main file and will fit all of my existing lamps.

  • If an insert feels slightly loose, please print the Snug-Fit versions
  • I’m always open to creating new inserts — feel free to PM feedback or requests

  • Ensure your filament settings are correctly tuned
  • Do NOT enable ā€œDetect Thin Wallsā€

Layer Height: 0.12 mm
Walls: 7
Top Layers: 6
Infill: 15%
Infill Pattern: Rectilinear
Wall Generator: Arachne
(Longer slicing time, but significantly better print quality)

šŸŽØ Colour Change

  • Pre-configured colour change at Layer 308
  • No manual adjustment required unless modifying the model

🧲 Bed Adhesion

  • Brim: OFF by default (as requested)
  • Optional inner or outer brim can be added depending on your print bed surface

šŸ”§ Slicer Notes

  • Adaptive Layer settings should match the screenshot provided
  • Avoid changing wall-related optimisations unless you understand the impact

šŸ” High-Resolution Model — IMPORTANT

šŸ“¦ Due to MakerWorld file size limitations, the STL included in the print profile is a Medium-resolution placeholder.

āš ļø Before slicing, you MUST replace the STL in the profile with the included High-Resolution STL (650mb STl file)

šŸ–Øļø Printing without replacing the STL will result in reduced surface quality and loss of fine detail compared to the photos shown.

šŸ› ļø How to Replace the STL

1ļøāƒ£ Open the provided Medium Resolution print profile
2ļøāƒ£ Replace the existing STL in the profile as per screenshot below - right click on "Moon_v1.2stl"


3ļøāƒ£ šŸ“‚ Import the High-Resolution STL from the download files
4ļøāƒ£ šŸ“ Confirm the model is correctly positioned by lowering the negative part for the cable to be flush with the plate. Also rotate lamp to suit Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā your prefered front view or match my default center line.

 


5ļøāƒ£ ā–¶ļø Slice using the recommended settings

Prints made using only the profile’s placeholder STL may appear softer, less detailed, or inconsistent with the showcased results.
