Description
The chessboard transforms into a box!
This is a chessboard that transforms into a box to store chess pieces, or vice versa!
It's a chess piece box that transforms into a chessboard, or vice versa!
the squares are 4cm, so the chessboard measures 32cm x 32cm.
I preferred to make it small to start and test the concept.
Resizing (within reason) should normally work, but the hinges might malfunction.
Be careful, it has hinges that need to be assembled by inserting a piece of filament.
Assembly is delicate because the holes are intentionally tight.
Once inserted, everything will work and it won't be necessary to touch it again.
Align the two parts well and use both hands to insert the filament.
Cutting it to a point beforehand can make things easier.
This is a first version, I hope you like it.
