Description
The Matterhorn, 4478 m above sea level, the seventh highest peak and third highest Italian mountain by altitude, located in the Central Alps along the border between Italy and Switzerland.
Model derived from aerial scans by Italian and Swiss topographical institutes.
The resolution of the Swiss side is 0.5m, while the Italian side is 2m.
The overall elevation has been accentuated by approximately 20% compared to reality to more convincingly represent the mountain peaks.
