🦋 Baroque Frame with Skull Moth
Important
Ensure good adhesion, otherwise use glue or something similar to achieve good bed adhesion.
removing the supports requires patience, be aware of that. Don't let comments come later that something breaks off, etc. It is doable.
This model consists of an ornamental baroque frame and a detailed skull moth, which is later mounted on the frame.
Ideal as wall decor, a gothic accent, or a unique showpiece.
- 2-part model
- 1× Frame
- 1× Moth
- Both parts are printed separately
🖨️ Print Notes
- Supports required for the moth
- ⚠️ Be very careful when removing supports, especially:
- Wing edges
- Body details
- Work slowly and with fine tools (side cutters / scalpel recommended)
🔧 Assembly
- The moth is glued to the frame at the designated contact surfaces
- Superglue
- Before gluing:
- Position for testing
🎨 Post-processing (optional)
- Looks particularly good with:
- Black + Gold Drybrush
- Antique or stone look
- Also very effective without painting due to the details
