IKEA Elvarli mount bracket

I made this mount to replace the IKEA Elvarli shelves with 2020 aluminum extrusion, though it could be used for other things.  The holes accept M4 screws, I used 8mm with a 1mm washer for my aluminum extrusion.

The original IKEA hardware is used (the M6 screw #117784, and the metal mounting bracket #146677).  These go into the post threads #146693.

I printed this at 0.2mm layer height, 10 shells, in PETG for UV resistance (I was using this in a sunny window).  I wanted aluminum extrusion to mount things to.

It should be noted that above a few kg's of load, there will be some deformation, and if the load is unbalanced it may cause the shelf to no longer be level.  I may try to improve this design further, possibly using heat set inserts.  The plastic itself seems to deform under load, causing the screw holes to get slightly wider.
