Hi,
this is a copy of the original hinge cover for a Ariete model 909/917/918/928 oven, except it is 30 mm deeper and with a 20 mm hole to accomodate a 6 amp 230V switch. You can find the dimensions of the switch I used in the “assembly guide” section.

I also made a version of the cover without any hole, so you can make your own (in your slicer or otherwise) according to the switch you have on hand. You will find this version on a separate printing profile, and as a separate .stl

I made this part to allow a popular mod on this oven, which consists of a switch to control separately the lower heating element. With this cover, the mod is completely reversible, as you can keep untouched to original cover.

I chose this emplacement for the switch as the wiring runs through this hinge, and you can easily disconnect the white cable and feed it through the switch. You can use the original screws, but on my part i picked 3 mm wood screws, as I don't have a special screwdriver thin enough to go in the holes.

Moreover, the temperature at the hinge is low enough to use PLA for the part, but i highly suggest to use ABS or even better, some sort of PA/Nylon to be on the safe side.

A bit of a niche part but i'm sure there is many pizza lover in this world :)
