Description

This is a full size claymore modeled after my real one. While an excellent sword, the real thing is a bit difficult to carry at renaissance fairs, especially given the lack of a sheath means it can't be peace-tied. This is printed with four walls for strength and has a hollow for a ½ inch dowel for added reinforcement. I've split the print into three colors so that it can be printed without an AMS, but I strongly recommend using either the PETG or Bambu support Filament profiles if you have an AMS. If you have to use the other one, be very careful to clean out the alignment holes before gluing the sword together or you'll get a bend which is very noticeable given the length of the assembled sword.

Update: Since I've taught myself more CAD I've uploaded a new version here that fixes a few issues this model had: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2507196-claymore-version-2#profileId-2756794
