Siren Attachment for High Speed Propeller Launcher
Print Profile(1)

Description
Meet the Siren Attachment for Lukas Hannert’s High Speed Propeller Launcher. Launching propellers is already awesome…but this clip-on add-on works like a little intake and turns airflow into a full-on siren that can push 100+ dB while you’re sending propellers downrange. Pair it with my hand crank for extra fun.
Will this give you maximum coolness in the backyard? Yes.
Will this annoy your friends/partner/pets when not firing anything? Also yes.
Use responsibly: it can be loud enough to deserve hearing protection, and propellers are still projectiles so don’t aim at people/animals, use a safe backstop, and keep it to controlled, sensible fun.
Printing Recommendations:
Filament: PLA
Layer height: 0.2
Walls: 3 or 4
Infill: 20% - Adaptive Cubic
Supports: Tree (auto)
Assembly Instructions:

- Leave the output shaft on the launcher but remove the adapter cap. Clip the base to the top of the launcher. It's a tight fit and may require some force.
- Push the rotor (inner fan part) firmly onto the output shaft. Add a drop or two of oil to the outside of the top, center shaft for smoother operation.
- Thread the stator (outer housing) onto the base. It may take a few loose rotations to line up the threads. Be careful not to cross thread.
- Note: You will need an additional output shaft for the top of the siren if you want to launch propellers with it attached.
Updated 1-29-26 (Version 2):
- Improved threading
- Improved how securely the base attaches to the launcher
