Floor guide for glass sliding door
Print Profile(2)

Description
Here you will find a floor strip for a glass sliding door
In my opinion, the original was tiny and did not protect the sensitive ends (neither from me or my children bumping our feet, nor from the glass getting damaged)
I designed the strip to have space for felt glides to further protect the door and minimize noise
I bought these in black from the following provider
alternatively in light
or in gray
I also used a slightly stronger double-sided acrylic adhesive tape to attach the strip to the floor. Screws were out of the question due to the underfloor heating
Link to the adhesive here
You can also find a suitable stop for the short side in my print models

If you are interested in the glass sliding door, you can find it here
Regarding printing
I used PETG because we have a lot of sunlight in this spot. I think all materials should be usable
Supports: not necessary
Infill: anything from 8-100% is possible, I recommend a slightly higher infill for children to better absorb impacts from toys
The strip is designed for a left-sided opening but can be rotated using the "mirror" function. Please make sure to mirror ALL parts of the strip
