2.26 Update
Although I haven't had much time or good ideas for a mahjong storage box recently, I found a relatively perfect storage box solution on MakerWorld, and with the author's permission, I hereby reference it: Naxiazizao Home Emergency Medical Kit Pokemon Pokémon Center Pokémon Go Skin MB1914-02
After scaling this Pokémon Center-style medical kit by 113%, its interior perfectly accommodates the storage needs for a full set of 144 tiles. After scaling, the inner cavity measures 215.6* 160.2, each tile is 43*32*21, and each layer holds 5*4 for a total of 20 mahjong tiles, measuring 215*160

I have only verified that the box can fully hold one layer of 20 mahjong tiles. Interested users can fully verify it
1.16 Update
Following the previous number tiles, this is the complementary pack for Pokémon themed mahjong, including all honor tiles (wind tiles, dragon tiles) and flower tiles. The complete set of mahjong contains 42 different Pokémon
Design Philosophy:
- Dragon Tiles: Pikachu, as the absolute core, embodies "Red Dragon" (red lightning), Meowth bringing wealth represents "Green Dragon" (fortune), and Eevee's original form signifies the infinite possibilities of "White Dragon" (blank slate)
- Wind Tiles: Carefully selected mythical Pokémon from the last Pokédex entries of Generations 1-4: Mew (East), Celebi (South), Deoxys (West), Arceus (North)
- Flower Tiles: Composed of the Eevee family, the 8 flower tiles correspond to Eevee's 8 evolutions, attempting to combine the essence of traditional Chinese culture:
- Spring Summer Autumn Winter: Thunder (spring thunder), Fire (summer fire), Water (autumn water), Ice (winter ice)
- Plum Orchid Bamboo Chrysanthemum: Sylveon (fairy plum), Umbreon (dark orchid), Leafeon (bamboo), Espeon (golden chrysanthemum)

This is a set of 3D Printed mahjong tiles that combines traditional Chinese culture with Pokémon elements. Within the small space of the #44 mahjong tile, the classic pixel art style is highly restored using multi-color stacking technology

⚠️Important Note: This project theoretically supports 3D Printers of any size, including the A1 mini. However, due to the limited number of colors, a dual AMS system must be used
💡 Design Inspiration: Reconstructing the Starter Pokémon
The core of mahjong consists of the three suit tiles: 'Bamboo', 'Characters', and 'Dots'. As a gamer, this instinctively made me think of Pokémon's 'starter Pokémon'. Based on this, I constructed a new logical framework:
- 🔥 Character Tiles = Fire Type
- 💧 Dot Tiles = Water Type
- 🍃 Bamboo Tiles = Grass Type
Evolutionary Stages:
Within the same type, numbers 1-9 correspond to Pokémon of different generations and evolutionary forms. Taking fire-type tiles as an example:
- 1-2-3: Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic | Base Form
- 4-5-6: Charmeleon, Quilava, Combusken | 1st Evolution
- 7-8-9: Charizard, Typhlosion, Blaziken | Final Evolution

Currently, there are 27 different Pokémon pixel art designs across the 3 suit tiles. The attribute icons, numbers, and Pokémon patterns all feature an embossed design with recessed details and chamfered edges to ensure a comfortable feel when touching the tiles

🎨 Multi-color Stacking Process
This mahjong set uses an 8-color, 4-layer stacking scheme, with each layer height at 0.1mm. Each pixel is only 1mm wide
The number of color changes for H2C is 75, and for a single-nozzle machine, it's around 130. This number of color changes is relatively low for a multi-color model
All 8 filament colors are Bambu Lab PLA Basic, composed of CMYKWRGB, which are:
- Cyan
- Magenta
- Yellow
- Black
- Jade White
- Red
- Bambu Green
- Blue
Thanks toWoColor8 for providing multi-color stacking technical support

⚙️ Hardware and Filament Requirements
Equipment: Any model supporting dual AMS (smaller models may require re-arranging the plates)
Nozzle: A 0.4mm nozzle is sufficient (for extreme surface quality, you can try a 0.2mm nozzle, but I haven't verified it)
Build Plate: Please make sure to clean the build plate, and apply glue if necessary. In winter, the probability of warping and first layer quality issues increases sharply when printing

🖨️ Print Profile
- Profile Pre-configured: All parameters are included in the 3mf file. To achieve results similar to mine, it is not recommended to modify any parameters
- Currently, there are only27 tiles. To print a full set of mahjong, you need toprint 4 times
- Scaling Warning: You can freely re-arrange the plates, but if you enlarge the print, do not modify the Z-axis height, otherwise, it will damage the multi-color stacking effect
- For optimal top surface flatness, you can try enabling the ironing function (but I have not verified it)
🚀 Update Plan
- Honor Tiles Addition: East South West North Red Dragon Green Dragon White Dragon -> Plans to focus on legendary Pokémon and other classic Pokémon (promise not to procrastinate!)
- Flower Tiles Addition: Spring Summer Autumn Winter Plum Orchid Bamboo Chrysanthemum (most likely won't procrastinate)
- Peripheral Accessories: Support for weights, magnetic adsorption, attribute tokens, dedicated storage boxes, dice, etc. (procrastination depends on mood)
🀄 It can be mahjong, but it's more than just mahjong. Feel free to use your imagination to create new rules and ways to play
