1.1. Update
- Holes in the housing for the heat-set inserts enlarged to 4 mm (heat-set inserts fit better)
- Seal now also runs internally around the heat-set inserts
Thickness of the seal increased by 0.2 mm

Material Recommendations for 3D Printing

Indoor Use
PLA (Polylactide) or PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)
PLA is easier to print and often sufficient for indoor use. PETG offers better temperature resistance and durability
Outdoor Use
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
ABS is recommended as it has higher UV resistance and temperature resistance compared to most PLA and PETG types
Seal
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
TPU is flexible and elastic, ideal for creating a functional, sealing gasket
