CTR Shield Magnet - 10x3mm Magnet

This CTR shield refrigerator magnet was modeled in CAD using the logo from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was designed for our primary to use as monthly birthday gifts. 

Hardware Required:

• 1x Standard Round Magnet (10mm diameter x 3mm thick).

Key Features:

• Embedded Magnet: The magnet is sealed inside the print, making it safe for children (no loose magnets) and giving it a professional finished look.
• Clean Geometry: Modeled with proper vectors for smooth walls and top surfaces.
• Reinforced Letters: The "CTR" text is embedded flush with the background for maximum strength—no snapping off if dropped.

🖨️ Print Settings (Important!)

This model is designed to be printed in PLA with a Pause command.

• Layer Height: 0.20mm (Standard)
• Perimeters/Walls: 3 or 4 loops (Recommended for strength).
• Infill: 15% Gyroid (or similar).
• Supports: None.

⏸️ How to Print (The Magnet Drop)

This print requires you to insert the magnet mid-print.

1. Slice the File: Ensure you have added a PAUSE command at Layer 20 (approx 4.00mm height). [Note: If you use the provided 3MF Print Profile, this is already set up for you.]
2. Start Print: Let the printer complete the base and the magnet hole.
3. The Pause: When the printer pauses and the toolhead moves aside, simply drop your 10x3mm magnet into the hole.
   • Tip: If you are using a textured PEI or steel plate, no glue is needed. The magnetic bed will hold the magnet firmly in place.
4. Resume: Press "Resume" immediately on your printer screen. The printer will bridge over the magnet, sealing it inside forever.
5. Quantity: On a 256x256 build plate you can easily fit 20 CTR shields at a time. When batching multiple, make sure the polarity on your magnets face the same way on each CTR shield.
