HVAC Floor Vent Adapter for 4" Duct Hose
Modern homes all seem to locate floor registers right where you naturally want to place a bed, a dresser, or other piece of furniture. I needed a simple and effective solution to relocate the air coming from the floor vent under our bed so that my wife and I didn't freeze in the winter and roast in the summer.
I present to you…my over-engineered solution! It works beautifully.
I've uploaded print profiles for most standard vent sizes:
- 4x12, 4x10, 6x10, 6x12, 8x10, 3x10, 2x10 and 2x12.
- Please request the additional sizes you need in the comments and I'll get a profile made for you!
Each adapter mates perfectly to readily available (and cheap!) 4" spiral duct hose. Assembly is very straight forward. All you need is to print the pieces, a couple drops of super glue, and a length of 4" spiral hose duct.
Now you can easily route your conditioned air where you actually need it to go! No more wasted energy or hot/cold spots.
Use these awesome floor vent adapters with the bedside bed vent system for extra cooling and heating comfort!!!
