Description
Designed for the MrTiPARTs Luggage Holder / Pignose mount.
I needed a release lever for the MrTiPARTs luggage holder on my Java Neo 3, as I did not like the leather strap that it was designed to use (and I didn't want anything to get caught on the leather).
As shown in the picture - this release lever uses pure mechanical leverage to help push back the release tab, allowing you to release your bags easily.
This model uses three additional hardware components:
- M3x25 Metal Dowel (used for the rotational axis, not pictured)
- M3 Hex Nut
- M3x30 Socket Head Cap Screw (used to fasten the two halves of the holder together)
Should be reasonably easy to put together:
- Insert the Dowel Pin into the Dowel Pin Shim.
- Slip the Dowel Pin Shim into the upper hole of the Pignose mount, as shown in the photo
- Press-fit the two halves of the release lever onto the dowel pin - there should be a minimal gap between the two halves.
- Fasten together with the M3 screw and nut.
