Description

Family Tech Command Center | 8-Slot Charging & Storage Hub

Is your kitchen counter or hallway cabinet buried under a mountain of iPads, school Chromebooks, and phones? I designed this Universal Tech Dock specifically to solve the "tech explosion" in my own home. It turns a chaotic pile of electronics into a streamlined, single-location charging station for the whole family.

The "Family-Proof" Design

  • Centralized Charging: No more hunting for devices. Every tablet, laptop, and phone has a dedicated "home" for the night.
  • Built to Last (0.8mm Optimized): I printed mine with a 0.8mm nozzle in PETG. This makes the walls incredibly thick and sturdy—perfect for when kids are a bit rough sliding their laptops into place.
  • Cabinet Friendly: Designed with a compact footprint to fit perfectly inside standard kitchen or hallway cabinets.
  • Safety First: Storing devices vertically keeps them off the counter, protecting them from accidental spills or being sat on.

To make this "indestructible" for daily family use, use these settings:

  • Nozzle: 0.8mm (Highly Recommended!) or 0.4mm.
  • Material: PETG (Great for durability and heat resistance inside closed cabinets).
  • Walls: 2-3 loops for 0.8mm nozzles; 4-5 loops for 0.4mm nozzles.
  • Supports: None! Prints cleanly as-is.

Worked perfect for what I needed. Printed in PLA Tough, though I think regular PLA would have worked fine. Paired that with a charging hub and coiled charging cables to make a clean charging station.

looks nice but would be better if the dividers printed separately so you could choose where to install them.

I'm not really sure what the policy is regarding links, and OP made a nice model here that probably works well for many, but if you look in my profile, I made a similar thing with modular dividers.
