DeLonghi Rivelia Slide & Lock Rinse Drip Mug

This model is a remix and redesign of the sleek and amazing "Delonghi taza receptor de agua sucia" designed by RDBT (link to original).
 

I wanted to adapt the original concept to match my coffee corner's aesthetic while improving its functionality for specific De'Longhi models. This version is redesigned primarily to fit the Rivelia look and features some "slide and lock" tabs on the bottom to attach to the grill, front or side-facing. While it was tested on the Rivelia and Magnifica Evo, it should potentially fit any De'Longhi machine with similar grill spacing.
 

Key Changes & Improvements:

• Minimalist Aesthetic: A sleek and smooth design with no logos or ridges for a cleaner look.
• Perfect Scale: Rescaled to fit snugly just below both the coffee and milk spouts.
• Secure Fit: Added tabs on the base that allow the cup to slide and lock onto the grill (can be positioned front-facing or side-facing).
• Stability: Added small feet to the bottom to ensure it stays stable and doesn't wobble when placed on the counter.

Print Settings

To ensure the cup is functional and durable, please follow these recommendations:

• Material: PETG is the minimum requirement to withstand the hot rinse water (~80°C). ABS/ASA are also great options if you prefer. Avoid PLA as it will warp over time.
• Waterproofing: Use at least 3 wall loops and 20% infill to ensure the cup is 100% watertight.
• Surface Finish: I recommend enabling Ironing on top surfaces to achieve a premium, smooth look.
• Supports: Use Tree Supports for the handle and the underside locking tabs. They are easy to remove and ensure the mechanical parts print correctly.
