Description
Personal Collection No.116, Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐
Original Author: Gene Studio
Nautilus Dragon Spine. A very artistic bionic design; the spinning light and shadow are very beautiful; even when made in a single color, it produces excellent results. I couldn't resist this type of design, so I made it; single-color printing in metal or transparent colors works well.
For PETG printing, glue must be applied, otherwise there's a high chance of failure!
Accessories to prepare for print profile 1:
- 1 high-quality R188 bearing
- 6 8mm steel balls for counterweight
- 6 M3*4 hex socket cup head screws
- 1 pair of M3*14 external hex screws and nuts
- 12 3mm*8mm dowel pins
Parts list (dowel pins, steel balls, and bearings in place):

Assembly steps:
① Insert the R188 bearing, 6 8mm steel balls, and 12 3mm*8mm dowel pins into the two main body pieces, then combine them to form the complete main body
② Install 6 M3*4 hex socket cup head screws into the reserved holes and tighten them with a screwdriver
③ Place the M3*14 hex screw and nut into their respective hexagonal locking positions and cover with the locking patch
④ Connect the male and female locking parts and tighten; then it's done
