Description

PETG recommended, since even the thick version when printed with PLA broke soon after testing it on my actual bike.

The diameter is 63 mm.

Printed fast in PLA as our son needed a water bottle cage with a current heat wave. It turned out great and has held up great though I’ll print in PETG next time. Oh and he would want me to say it held up to him jumping his bike so it’s definitely kid approved.

nice design but it didn’t appear to fit my Giant as the frame’s screw holes are slightly further apart than the design allows. I will however scale it 1 or 2% in length and try again

I printed the water Bottle Holder with normal PETG, so I improved the infill. But in generell very nice Print and until now it is doing a great job on my bike.

Much easier to get it to stay on the print bed, but broke after like 3 rides. Probably should use it if you travel with your bike or mountain bike.

I have an updated profile, but I am unable to upload for some reason. my wife's bottle holder is still on her bike.

I’m not sure if you can get away without it. I used Prusa slicer’s tree supports and it worked great, though it did use a lot of plastic. Perhaps I’ll look into making the design more printable in the future
