Disney Ear & Loungefly Hanger

My wife has an ever growing collection of Mickey Ears and Loungeflies that she wanted to display in her home office.  There are tons of these available but none were quite what she was looking for so I created these clean simple designs that still say I am Disney but let the bags and ears shine.  

There are now 3 styles, one which holds both a Loungefly and matching Mickey ears, another that is just for ears and the final one that someone requested for just the LoungeFly.  The ear portion is wide enough that the ears don't rotate and slide off like some others we tried.  These hangers are mounted on the walls using Command strips.

For Disney Cruisers… I created a Mickey Ear holder with magnets that you can use to hang your ears on the metallic stateroom walls.  Keep in mind these will not work on the Magic or Wonder as their walls are not metallic.  They definitely help keep your stateroom organized if you have a lot of ears like our family seems to.  Also great for Fish Extender or Pixie Dusting Gifts.

Notes:

• Command Strip Mounted: 

  • Loungefly & Ear hanger - I used a full Command 20lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strip
  • Ear Hanger - I used half of a Command 20lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strip (one strip set does 2 hangers)
  • LoungeFly Hanger - Half of a Command 20lb XL Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strip is enough for an empty LoungeFly

   

• Magnet Mounted:

  • Ear Hanger - Each hanger uses 4 – 10mm x 2 thick magnets, I used negative part cylinders in Bambu Studio so these can be scaled/modified as needed.
