Description
Being from Brittany, the Bambulab contest inspired me to create this royal wireless rechargeable Celtic torch with some small Breton touches, including the Triskell. If you wish, you can change the logo and use your region's instead
A removable disc can be detached to recharge the rechargeable lamp via the USB port
COLORS
All filaments used are Bambulab brand
Dark Gray
Bronze
Black
White
Brown
Printing with dark brown might be better, but I didn't have any
PRINTING
Due to the small size of the rivets, they are all printed with supports
For the very thin light cover, there is a support on the base to ensure it stays on the build plate. It will need to be deburred after printing so it fits into the groove
The panels are printed upside down to achieve a well-textured surface
The dragons on the light cover can be painted black for more contrast
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
It is best to follow the assembly of the components as indicated in the order of the photos. The torch is assembled using interlocking parts and rivets, glue is not necessary. You can glue everything if you wish, except for the crown support rivets, which allow you to retrieve the lamp if you need it
MATERIALS
The rechargeable lamp used was purchased on Amazon, reference XQML-01 Oumida, for 11.99 euros
CONCLUSION
I had a lot of fun (and spent a lot of time) creating this Celtic torch, I hope you like it, and please feel free to leave me your comments
