BB Shooter – based on an old lighter

This BB shooter is based on an old electric lighter. The piezo element creates a spark, which ignites alcohol. Therefore, a small piece of wet paper is shot forward.

Materials:

  • Piezo element from a lighter
  • 3D-printed parts
  • Any type of alcohol
  • Some paper

Instructions after printing:

  • Remove the supports and clean the print
  • Put the piezo element in the dedicated spot and glue it down
  • Stick the cable into the hole and glue it in place
  • Glue the cap onto the trigger

How to use:

  1.  Spray some alcohol into the big hole (isopropanol is recommended; perfume also works)
  2.  Close the hole with the provided lid
  3.  Put a small piece of wet paper into the long cylinder
  4.  Press the trigger!
