Boost Me (for free)

Please if you liked this project consider boosting me, I would really appreciate it!

Hi everybody,

This is a garden light I designed with the help of my friend Ivan because alternatives from stores were too expensive for my pockets at the moment. It's very solid and printed in PETG or ASA is gonna be just fine under the elements. I personally printed them in PETG and they have been outside for a while.

How to connect the parts:

Each part has a bayonet fitting: every piece slides into the other and locks in place with a twist. No glue is required, and it can be easily disassembled if you need to inspect it, replace a part, or change the light bulb and electrical wiring.

Size:

The height of the column is 45.5 cm (around 18 inches) you can print and mount as many of the middle black parts as you want and each will add around 23cm (around 9 inches).

The diameter of the column is 10 cm or around 4 inches (except the base and the cap which are a little larger).

Light source:

I used an european standard threaded E14 lamp socket, if you are american you can use an E12, it should work as well (please let me know in the comments).

How to fix it to the ground:
Personally, I chose to create a base that can be secured to a concrete surface using screws and wall plugs. I considered designing a version that could be driven directly into the ground, but I don’t think that’s a good idea to make with a 3D printer. If you have any ideas, let me know in the comments.

Let's face it, it looks good to me, but I'm not a professional designer, so if somebody wants to help me make it better you are welcome to do so!
